On the God of Buddha: Respect for Baha'i
Buddhism is acknowledged in the Baha'i writings as one of the great world religions and its founder, the Buddha, is accorded a rank and station equal to that of all of the founders of the great world religions. ...
Although Baha'u'llah uses terms--such as "God"--derived from Judaeo-Christian-Islamic theology, in fact, Baha'u'llah, like the Buddha, discourages his followers from spending too much time trying to understand these matters for, he states, they will never be understood in any absolute sense

I have a lot of respect for Baha'i - if I was to be a theist of any sort I'd probably be a Baha'i.

George, this quote got me to thinking. With the recent headlines concerning a new book about Mother Teresa and her prolonged experiences with doubt, how about a blog entry on this issue. From what I've read (on this blog and elsewhere), Baha'is seem to take a whole heck of a lot on faith. Is there no room for curiosity, questioning, doubt in your religion?
Thanks and keep on doing "that voodoo that you do so well." ;)
