On She Scored a Bunch of Touchdowns: That it's a learning experience is what counts
She wears #7. She plays football on the 5/6th grade UTYA Tigers little league team. She scored a bunch of touchdowns during last Saturday's game which the Tigers won against the Orting Animals. The coaches say they don't care whether the team wins or loses, but that it is a learning exerience for the players. I'll bet Miah, #7, has learned a lot. She and her younger brother, a first grader, who plays on the 3/4th grade team, were both recruited by Coach Zeke. As do many of the Tiger's players, these football players live in the Salishan neighborhood along with their proud parents.
