On the Price to Pay: Iran's standing in the world in the face of the "sentences" of Baha'i leaders

There are hundreds of tweets such as the one above that have accumulated on Twitter since word was received about the long "sentence" reportedly given the seven Baha'i leaders.  The CNN Belief Blog post on it has received dozens of comments.

There are 744 items that come up for the past 24 hours googing "Baha'i sentence Iran." 
 
The seven have reportedly been transferred to the Rajai-Shahr Prison in Kajaf, Iran.
 
 
Iran's standing in the world continues to decline with actions such this. Of course, back in the 1980's entire Baha'i national assemblies were killed by the current regime. Death to these Baha'is they don't dare mete out, however, given the already incredibly negative press the current regime has earned through the injustice of the "trial" of these innocents. The price of death to these Baha'is, however, has become simply too high for the latter-day persecutors in Iran to pay.
