On Tellers of Stories: C. Dawn McCallum

Blogging is typically about stories, the personal narratives of our experiences in the world. In a sense, we are all story-tellers, authoring and re-authoring the stories of our lives. Some of us are story-tellers of the stories of others. C. Dawn McCallum is a Baha'i author of a book of fiction for children entitled The Caretaker of the Tree Palace. Here are its themes and then a bit about the author, from her website. -gw

Finding one’s voice.
Healing.
Love and loss.
Living in this world of change where the old world is torn away and the new world is built in its place.
Searching for the reality of something instead of what it appears to be.

C. Dawn McCallum grew up telling stories to the trees around her childhood home in Duncanville, Texas. ...Dawn has always loved writers who have made her see the world in a different way. The books of Baha’u’llah (written way back in the 1800s) transformed her life and filled her sight with the glory of a new era for humanity.
