On Avatar Snubbed: But not for long
Pithy excerpts, personal learning, and mentions of "Baha'i" online

I have no doubt that many of the Guild-members felt there was not enough actual screen-time for the actors and actresses to warrant the receipt of an award. Good movie bro, but I believe your kinda stretching it with comparing it to the Faith. Visually stimulating movie, but the story is rehashed at best with elements from Pocahontas, Ferngully and the like. But to each their own and I like your enthusiasm, great site!
I haven't seen the movie. But apparently it's got a plot that is a little of this and a little of that, and it isn't especially evocative of Baha'i. The commenter who mentioned "Baha'i" wasn't making the point that the film is Baha'i nor am I. I am noting that the title, "Avatar," is the equivalent of the word "manifestation," and the fact there is a movie that invokes this concept with its title alone is signficant, in my view.
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh ok got you bro. Yeah it is a very powerful title
