Then I remembered an e-mail that came in last night, in which the author wished us a warm Holy Day, the Birth of Baha'u'llah, and she quoted a song she learned in a children's class as a child in the 60s.

The Birth of Bahá'u'lláh is one of the nine holy days for Baha'i's, and it is celebrated on November 12. It celebrates the birth of Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá'i faith, born in Tehran on November 12, 1817.

As Baha'is celebrate this Holy Day we celebrate this new vision brought by Baha'u'llah: that the religions called by different names are, in reality, one religion unfolding over time, their separate Prophets inspired by One Source
 
As I look over the blog entries about the celebration yesterday of the Birth of Baha'u'llah Baha'i Holy Day, I recall the beautiful images of being in Tom and Debbie's home for our own community celebration. -gw
