On New Mexico, Malawi, and Japan: The Same Sun Shines Upon All

I realized recently that I moved from New Mexico, the flag of which has a red sun on it, to Malawi, which also has a red sun on its flag. In some twisted way, this now means I have to go to Japan. Am I missing any others? Help me out, my freakish geography geek friends. ... I learned a bunch of new Baha'i kids songs this week. They're fun!+
