In Malibu, Chadwick and I went to the famous Zuma beach (which I'd never heard of before) and watched the sunset. I sat there, watching the sunset in Malibu, while on a conference call with members of the Local Assemblies of the Baha'is of our Kansas City cluster (we were just elevated to a B stage of development, which basically means that our Baha'i community is becoming more loving, welcoming, active, and that there are more activities going on than ever before). I felt pretty cool, and a bit guilty, sitting in such a beautiful setting while chatting with folks still trapped in the unpleasant cold of the Midwest.
