On Friendships with Amazing Women: Sheer Brilliance
In the middle of a highly personal reflection posted on a blog for all the world to read is the blogger's acknowledgement of an "amazing woman".
Blogs are often coarse, and their supposed anonymity invites bloggers to voice thoughts at a level of self-talk that can sometimes seem crass and be disconcerting to even the stranger reading the site. It is the Baha'i way to look at others with a sin-covering eye, as the standards of the Faith are different than the standards of the modern world. The Baha'i reader, presumably, forgives the blogger any crassness and looks to his redeeming commentary instead.
Blog-search for "Baha'i" on the Internet and you will come across many long posts that include a brief mention of the Faith as this one does. In the middle of this blogger's commentary, it is clear that his Baha'i friend stands out from the crowd. -gw
To Chloe... for her sheer brilliance as an intellect and a Baha'i.
