youth from the villages surrounding the qaint town of om koi, not far from the burmese border, between the ages of 12 - 21, are given free room and board at the baha'i institute so they can go to school during the week. most return to their villages on the weekend, many walking tens of kilometers through the jungle. a pioneer couple have been running the dormitory for over 11 years.
