On Blogs: Current Baha'i Citings and Kudos to Pioneer Baha'i Bloggers

"I'm not really into blogs so don't expect too much from me," Sima said last month as he launched his blog. But look at the great pictures he has posted.

Great Motlagh Family Ayyam-i-Ha party pics just in! Well, actually...just discovered! All on the Baha'i family's blog where we "Find out what is happening with Reyhan, Razi, Safa and Kristin (and Tuti)."

From Zambia the Luckybeans, Life with 3 Zambian Monkeys family blog tells of breaking the fast with "Shushi, Baby!" The "three Zambian monkeys," which I presume must be the kids, love shushi, too, to varying degrees. Sushi in Zambia. Of course. It's a new world.

Baha'i blog, that exemplary vehicle for keeping up with "all things Baha'i," is approaching its first anniversary on the 14th of March. The dear blogger behind it all continues to be an inspiration to Baha'i bloggers everywhere, including this new blogger. The latest on bahaiblog.net is Ruhi study circles as explained by Winnie the Pooh. Great find!

March 20th marks the first anniversary for Barnabas quotidianus, the personal diary of John Barnabas (aka Barney) Leith. What's coming up in the months ahead on this literate, high quality blog so crisp and clean? In an email today Barney wrote, "...as the earth orbits the sun and the time of year returns, I shall soon be doing some of the same things I was doing this time last year - the Commonwealth Day Observance in Westminster Abbey, followed by a reception with members of the Royal Family at Marlborough House; recording my Pause for Thought scripts for the BBC; and enjoying the Spring season." What a unique perspective Barney provides us all.

Is there a blogger who has been at this labor of love longer than Doberman Pizza, a Baha'i Blog? His current post gives its history. It dates back 12 years to March 1992, the present incarnation to February 2002. And don't ya just love the name? It describes the world today--scary like a doberman and sublime like pizza. (Yes, pizza and the Baha'i Faith are sublime.) Thank you dear blogger pioneer.
