On an Alternative to Back in the Day: Better Than Ever

I can't wait for the Eastside neighborhood Reflection Meeting on Saturday from 10-2 at Lister Elementary. I can't wait to witness the consultation among the friends and neighbors from Salishan, Sunrise, Swan Creek, Coventry Court, and Ainsworth Court. We're creating "a culture of learning and collaboration that draws on spiritual insights common to all religions and fosters positive social change," as they say on the Make Peace, Build Community page on Facebook. "Social change starts with spirituality—individuals unlocking their soul’s desire for service and working alongside others for the good of their neighborhoods and communities."

I don't want to go back to Back in the Day. I want to live in a neighborhood that is Better Than Ever.
