I like this whole emptying favourites thing. You know there are a lot of top rate blogs out there who do that - incorporate remaindered links into their content. have you checked out social bookmarking sites like del.icio.us? it really makes the process easier, and if I'm not mistaken, there are even blogger widgets you can add that will display your most recent del.icio.us links in a nice format.
